The room was really cosy and clean. However the lady staff I met around 530pm on 14 May 2026 was a shocker - maybe she doesn’t enjoy interacting with foreigners. Huge attitude change once I started speaking in English. Her language “come here” “key in” and facial expression were so bad.

Maybe can have longer breakfast hours.

Stayed for just 10 hrs. Very convenient, last stop (Terminus) on subway line to Nara. So can't get lost. Lots of Shopping/Dining choices diagonally in front of Hotel.

Outside the window was next building. I prefer to see scenery. I could hear the noise of outside.

We stayed at this hotel during our trip to Nara and overall had a great experience. Although the room was quite small, it was very clean and well-maintained. The toiletries provided were of high quality and felt great to use. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Even though we had some language barriers, they went out of their way to assist us and used translation apps to communicate clearly. We also booked an in-room massage through the front desk — the masseur was an older gentleman with very strong hands, and the massage was incredibly relaxing. It was also reasonably priced at just 1,000 yen per 10 minutes. Breakfast was simple but tasty and convenient, perfect for travelers heading out early. The location is excellent — just steps from the train station exit, which made getting around super easy. The only downside was a slight smell of smoke in the hallway, likely from some guests smoking in their rooms. But aside from that, the hotel provided great value for money and we would definitely recommend it for a short stay in Nara!
