Great room right on the beach. But not very private with next door terraces easily viewed

Staff were so welcoming. My favorite people in Thailand. Also the food was incredible. Also the breakfast was not small at all despite the reviews!!!

Quiet, beachy vibe, staff was lovely, food was good, pool was nice, locals can pay a daily rate to visit but that was fun because my kids made friends. Bed set up was perfect for a family with 2-3 kids, everyone had their own bed. A solid hour from the airport but not inaccessible, 40 min into ChillVa market. Night life wasn’t for us so not an issue. Overall lovely stay, only slight downside was mosquitoes in the shower area which is open air. A fan would have been nice to keep them at bay while using the bathroom area, but we didn’t have any issues otherwise.

Too bad.... The location, food and staff were great, but our room smelled of cat pee! They tried to cover it up with air freshners, which had us fooled the first night, but by the time we returned from our day tour the next day, the bathroom in our room smelt so bad, we had to keep the door closed and remove all of our things. We had to brush our teeth in the main room, and hold our breath to use the toilet! When we complained about this, they did not offer an acceptable resolution or compensate us in any way for the inconvenience. This lack of attention to the client experience, especially given that this is a health concern for anyone staying in these conditions, was unacceptable.

Absolute bliss

Beautiful yoga shala & great classes. Small pool. Directly on beach but really muddy low tide and not much walkable options. However, good food & nice staff so didn’t need to go far. Outdoor shower was cute but the AC poor, bed was not comfortable, and room didn’t have windows.

Room 78 had AC that was not working properly and the ceiling fan sounded like a truck that was about to lose an engine. The receptionist did not want to move me and the "engineer" had to come a fiddle with everything. It was an unnecessary, time consuming, and unfriendly process. But, they decided to move me to room 70 which was perfect. The only hot water in all the rooms is in the shower. The sinks have only tepid cold water. The food is top notch and the beach views are excellent while dining. I don't recommend walking on the beach because there is a lot of broken glass in the sand. Thai people told me that they would not swim in the water. Nice to look at but go to another beach to swim.

Loved the hotel. We had a suite that was on the beach. We were able to sit on the patio and watch the sunrise. One night the hotel did a Thanksgiving dinner. We are from the US so we really enjoyed it. The location is a little off the beaten path (the west coast) but we enjoyed the peace and quiet. They have a very nice pool area that is a step away from the beach.
