Breakfast was great! The staff are very friendly and the hotel was clean. They provided free water and ice which was very helpful. They also had live music at the restaurant which was very enjoyable. Additionally, they provide a shuttle to broadway and this runs all day plus half of the night. Very convenient.

We had a mostly great four day stay at the Holiday Inn, Vanderbilt. We enjoyed the amenities and our room was clean and comfortable. However the final night of our stay, our smoke detector started chirping at 1:30 am. We called the front desk and the attendant said he was the only person on duty. We looked for a battery to remove, but the detector was hardwired. He couldn't come look at it and there was no maintenance person on duty. The hotel was sold out, so there was not an available room to move us to, I guess. A maintenance person was eventually called, but it was after we had made the decision to just leave, since it was our last night at the hotel. Even then it would have been an hour or more before the maintenance person could come try to fix the problem. The hotel staff did follow-up and did not charge us for the final night of our stay that got cut short. Glad it didn't happen in the middle of our stay.

Some of the cleaning staff did not speak English but always found someone who did. We found that the coffee place was very expensive.

The property was very nice but the staff was extrordinary. People make the property. So friendly, professional and helpful. Everyone goes above and beyond for everyone without even asking...and always with a personal touch and a genuine smile for you.

This is not my first time staying at this establishment. This is the place. I prefer to stay when I’m in Nashville. I love its location. The staff is very friendly and I like the live music at their bar.

The staff were so nice and helpful but the room smelled terrible. Old moldy smell. If it had not been so late I would have looked for another hotel. Was sick when I woke up next morning

The staff were very friendly. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Everything was clean. We only stayed there 8 hours to sleep and shower.

This is the only place we stay when we come to Nashville! Best place in town!
