What a delightful hotel. Great location, comfortable and lovely room. Just great.

Lovely place to stay……………

This is my go-to place in Bonn. Well situated and generally just a great place to stay.

Pros: Location; Cons: value for money (for some rooms)

Staff did not seem very happy or motivated. They were not looking to provide excellent service, just to impart information on what as possible/not possible and not ‘go the extra mile’ to create a happy customer experience. For example, the breakfast room was far too hot (multiple guests had complained of this) but senior staff were not prepared to make it cooler by opening doors/windows or turning on the air conditioning. There was no decaf coffee in the rooms and the receptionist could not provide any - this is a basic requirement in hotels. The receptionist offered to provide us with a phone number to order some ourselves! Unglaublich. The only two people who went out of their way to be helpful were two young members of staff, one female and one male, who looked as if they may have been new or temporary workers. The more senior staff were less helpful. The dining room was closed for an event on Friday 10/10 without warning or apology to hotel guests. This was very inconvenient.

I received a strange email with option to upgrade my deluxe room to a junior suite. I just had to tell them how much I would pay for the 20 Euro upgrade. They never told me if I got the upgrade. When I checked in, I had to ask about the upgrade. No, the junior suite was sold out. When I checked out, they charged me for the upgrade that I never received. Room was really nice with a beautiful river view. Food was excellent. Elevator was tricky.

Great hotel on the Rhine river. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely riverside bar at sensible prices. Fabulous location

The service was very helpful. The view of the Rhine and the sauna are a bonus. The room was clean and quiet. The only issue I had was that the coffee machine in the lobby either wasn't open or working most of my stay.

Like: location, some rooms ok Disliked: first room we had had a noisy air conditioning inside room and in corridor. Contacted reception and they said it would be off by 11pm had to call again at 11:10 and was told they would turn off manually. heard maintenance banging about and was off by 11:30 but room very warm. Back on at 6 and noisy again. Asked to move rooms but had to wait. Bathroom also had hairs and cobwebs. New room fine so why sell a substandard room
