Although we really enjoyed our stay, a few things would’ve improved it. The bar stopped serving food very early, and we didn’t have a chance to get dinner, so I was kind of disappointed about that. Although there were a few friendly staff members, overall, I thought that people could smile more and be a little bit more friendly with gas. There was a few exchanges that I had with the front desk, where I didn’t find the staff members to be friendly, but a little bit brusque. The location is great.

This historic property is in a beautiful neighborhood and offers great value, but because of its age it does need some renovation/maintenance. Some of the furnishings are a bit worn, carpets need cleaning or replacement and some minor mechanical repairs.
Nonetheless this is a great place overall. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

We booked the Suite for a long weekend and weren’t disappointed. Room was spacious with numerous balconies. Extra touches with cakes, fruit or sweets daily along with bottled water, besides the normal tea and coffee. Cleanliness was second to none. Staff were professional and polite. Breakfast was full of variety along with freshly cooked eggs and bacon by order. The indoor and rooftop pool facilities were amazing. Lots of restaurants in the vicinity along with bars. Just a short walk away from the Palace and its gardens that are well worth a visit. Highly recommend.

Negatives: Check in was very slow, and bathroom was not clean but staff didn't do anything about it
