This was a last minute family booking and what a great choice! Decoration was a bit quirky but the kids loved it and the hidden bunk beds made it fun for them. Breakfast in Gaia was excellent, nice and fresh. The chef remembered the kids on day 2 and came over with a little pot of chocolate for their pancakes, which was so nice. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. I’d come back if ever in Delft as perfectly located for the city.

Lovely nature-theme decor with tasty daily breakfast at GAIA Cafe downstair. Service is excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our room has an alcove furnished with bunkbed, a perfect hideaway for our teenagers who say this is their best hotel stay yet! Hotel is conveniently located in Oude Delft, within a short walk from the train and tram stations, the Oude Kerk Nieuwe Kerk, Musee Prinsenhof Delft, Royal Delft Museum and TU Delft. Rotterdam and Den Haag are a short train/tram ride away. Excellent value!

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful location. Comfortable rooms, really helpful staff, good walking location in the heart of the old town.

My daughter and I had a pleasant stay at Hotel de Plataan. Our twin room had a nature-inspired theme and we felt very relaxed in there. The heating in our room was not working during our 4-night stay, which was reported. A duty manager came to investigate it but the heating still didnt work during our stay. Our breakfast was served downstairs in the restaurant each morning. The breakfast was wonderful. There was was a selection of teas and coffees, cereals, cheeses, breads, and omelettes could be made by the chef upon request. The hotel is well situated in Delft. Delft train station is less than a 10-minute walk away. The shops, main square and cafes are all within a 10-minute radius from the hotel.

Very friendly staff. They upgraded my room to give me more space. Nice to have a bath.

Funky hotel fairly central in Delft with a good breakfast included. We stayed one night in this spot. Nice room with eclectic decorating and updated washroom. Main issue was the room was really warm, even though it wasn’t really hot outside. Ceiling fan helped for main part of room, but the nook with bunk beds was excessively warm with no air circulation, and only one window could be opened slightly. Kids were pretty uncomfortable. High price but that seems par for the course in the Netherlands.

This hotel is excellent and stylish, boasting unique features in each room. Its central location means it's just a short walk from the main square, the old/new church, and the Vermeer House, making it an ideal spot. The hotel exudes a relaxed atmosphere, offers a great breakfast, and features a charming and vibrant restaurant/bar with views of a quaint square. While the rooms are comfortable and somewhat basic, they serve their purpose well, providing a convenient base for exploring the delightful city.

A little too funky for us - particularly not having a fully closing door for the toilet area. We at in the dining room twice and it was really excellent both times. Very good door and service.
