Great time

Location, amenities, friendly staff, cleanliness, this hotel had it all and was worth every penny!

Always amazing!!! He’s bar and restaurants! Beautiful view! Staff is exceptional!

Enjoyed our first stay at Congress. They hosted an event for our family which also went very well.

Pool area was great! Showers sucked.

The location, history and charm of this hotel is extraordinary but we stayed in room 323 in the South Wing. At booking we were not given a choice as to location only the bed size. The room was fine. The view from our windows was the roof top vents for the restaurants and a giant air conditioning compressor. It was not ideal but the real problem was the 24/7 roar of the fan outside. At first we thought it was our a/c unit but later discovered when we turned our thermostat off that the roar was coming from the rooftop unit outside our window. We asked the front desk if we could move to another room but were told that they were fully booked and that the fan would probably go off at about 10 PM. We were there for 3 nights and that fan did not go off for 1 second the whole time. We paid over $500 per night for the room so it’s not like they discounted the room because of the problem. They clearly knew about it. It was so loud it would be impossible to miss and they supplied a pair of Congress Hall ear plugs in each night stand. My wife and I were there for a long weekend to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. We made the best of it but we felt taken advantage of. It was pretty tough to get any sleep during our stay. I can pretty much sleep through anything but this was almost comical. I was waiting for the camera and someone to tell me it was a practical joke. Not the experience we were expecting given the way they paid so much attention to all the other aspects of our stay.

Congress is an wonderfully historic hotel, steeped in American history. Our room was wonderful. We will absolutely be back for years to come

Toddler friendly and easy access to beach with complimentary umbrellas and chair. We really enjoyed our stay

From the time of Check-in to checkout everything was perfect. The location of the room by the elevator, cocktails in the Brown Room and breakfast at the Blue Pig, exceeded our expectations. Looking forward to our next stay in the near future! Theresa Sanginiti
