I The reception was not good. Never felt comfortable. Traveling thousands of miles away from home I would hope that the place I choose to stay make me feel comfortable, I almost felt as though I was the inconvenience. Will not stay again.

I was the only person to say hello and make eye contact upon checking in. The room was in good, not great, condition, with a few stains and scratches in various spots. Noises from other guests were easy to hear. Convenient location was the reason for booking here, but will look elsewhere next time for a better reception and room.

It's a beautiful boutique hotel literally a 60 second walk to Hyde Park.. steps away from restaurants and pubs.. a 7 minute walk from Paddington Station. The breakfast was exceptional - service superior - the breakfast servers deserve a round of applause! The front desk and management staff were friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond their call of duty. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

After leaving the ‘please clean’ sign on the door, we were disappointed to return at 4pm and the room still not clean. At that turn we went to the reception to ask for fresh towels (as the room hadn’t been cleaned) and were told they’d be dropped off in 5 minutes. 20 minutes later they hadn’t arrived and so I returned to reception and on this occasion anyone remember of staff walked back with me to get some fresh towels for us. Once back in the room, a cleaner bumped into me to ask if we needed the room cleaned; I explained I was then taking the sigh off as we were getting ready and was asked “why is the sign up then”. I explained it had been up from 10am until now, which was about 4:30pm and nobody had been round so we were now changing it to do not disturb. She again told us we shouldn’t have it up then and confirmed we didn’t need a clean before walking off. The room Itself was good, albeit small, it was just a shame the staff weren’t more efficient in managing the visitors and rooms. Really good location and handy for the tube.

The hotel lobby was well presented, clean, and well maintained, creating a good first impression. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our stay, and the breakfast offered a good range of options. The air conditioning worked well, and the TV was good quality. Unfortunately, the room was a huge disappointment. We booked a small double, but it was extremely cramped. The double bed was pushed up against the wall, meaning one person had to climb over the other to get in and out. There was also a cabinet at the bottom of the bed, making access even more awkward. I even hit my head on the wall trying to get out. The room itself was in poor condition, with marked walls and crumbling paint that made it feel tired and in need of refurbishment. Although the bathroom had everything you would expect, it was very small, and the toilet roll holder was positioned so awkwardly that it was difficult to reach. There were also steps throughout the hotel, which felt like a safety hazard, particularly when carrying luggage. The bed was incredibly hard, making for a very uncomfortable night’s sleep, and unfortunately we got very little rest. Overall, while the staff, breakfast, air conditioning, and TV were all positives, the poor room layout, uncomfortable bed, and lack of maintenance meant we would not choose to stay here again.

Excellent location clean and cool. Great placed for breakfast 2 minutes away.

Very small room. Very little space to store your belongings. A lamp in front of the TV. Very narrow space for the beds. Very small bathroom and poor pression of water under the shower. Room in the backyard are noisy because of a restaurant across the street. Reserve a room in front of the main street. The two window's are either hard to open or completly unusable. The windows are so durty ! Can't see through ! There's a high landing between bathroom and beds...be careful ! Same to get in the room by the corridor ! Very-very good breakfast, one of the best we had in a Best Western. Another plus : or room was ready before we arrived ! Lucky ?...Hotel well situated near Hyde Park and tube's station Lancaster. Also near from Paddelton Station. Good safe in the room.

The queen bed was extremely uncomfortable. There was no water pressure in the room so disappointing a Travelodge bed and shower are better and a lot cheaper

When arrived at the hotel 2hrs after check in opened we were told our room was not ready. We mentioned we were going to a show and needed to freshen up was told would be . We left our bags and went for something to eat came back to be told still not ready! We were told 4 rooms similar to ours all had issues but not all the rooms were on the same floor surely if the was an issue with water and air conditioning it would effect the whole floor. I can’t fault Zara as not her fault was given free breakfast and a drink. Asked for a free upgrade to be told fully booked! When we finally got to our room quick change and off out. Sunday night came back from BTS in Hype Park needing a shower the mat was soaking wet so had to put a normal towel on the floor.

Great location to get to places to visit. Hotel room spacious and a good price for the location opposite Hyde Park
