Property was lovely. Good access to town and hot pools.

Easy to go to everything. Bed was so comfortable

The staff were all friendly & welcoming. The room was clean & comfortable. I can thoroughly recommend the lamb roast at the restaurant. Lovely atmosphere sitting around the fireplace in the bar.

The room was spacious and the bathroom was massive! Everything was tidy and clean. It was located close to the pool and restaurants. Some might say the building is outdated but it was fine for us. Will definitely return!

Awesome breakfast, room was clean and warm and a quiet location however the shower over the bath was not the easiest to get in or out of and no grab rails to make it safer, plus the glass screen didn't close properly so a lot of water went on the floor - another safety hazard. Not ideal having the flush button directly behind the seat lid which meant having to close the lid to flush.

Beautiful setting. Lovely views from the dining room.

Very good hotel, very clean and very comfortable bed and everything is close by and I can walked with in a few minutes. This is our second time staying there we are loving it.

Linen napkins at dinner - so nice to see. Breakfast simple with eggs only one way - would have expected more choice. All in all we liked the place - ageing gracefully.

The property is amazing, but is being left to go to wrack and ruin (it's not there yet, but it's certainly on its way). It's rather sad to see. The staff are lovely, but there are very few of them. Oftentimes you'd go through reception without seeing anyone on the desk. Rooms are not serviced daily, which feels a little inattentive, not Kiwi hospitality. There's old furniture stacked up in poritcos, hoses left straggled under hedges, hedges themselves are roughly chopped. Weeds are taking over the formerly manicured grounds. Leaves are strewn across the lawns. Even easy maintenance tasks like replacing moldy silicone around the basin has gone by the wayside... the whole place feels rather devoid of care...

Very good position in middle of town , but I thought they would replenish the milk ect supplies even though they don’t do housekeeping every day
