We were not impressed with this hotel. I don’t even know where to begin… Firstly, the breakfast was poor. I suppose we are used to a higher standard of food, but it was definitely not of a decent level. Our room was disappointing. Park view actually means a car park view. The rooms were not cleaned properly in the slightest. In fact, we had instances of recognising dirt that was not hoovered over 2 days. We had some left over milk from the night that we used for tea, remain in our room in the open- they couldn’t even dispose of that. 2 tea mugs were not even changed or washed. Our shower was absolutely TINY. We could hardly manoeuvre in it at all & it was just awful. We felt that staff were grumpy all the time. After asking for simple things they were cold & the place really lacked a welcoming feel. So much so, when we checked out & were asked how we enjoyed our stay, we were honest about the standard of their service. This revelation was met with a nod- in any hospitality there is always an apology & any good communication skills. Overall, we recognised that we have been fortunate enough to have visited other 4* hotels which have met the standard associated with the commendation - this is not one of those hotels.

Overall had a really good experience. Kids loved the pool with water slide. Great experience in the spa, therapist was really good. Great location overlooking the lake. Staff in the bar were lovely.

Too expensive for what was actually received with a lot of hidden fees and costs not mentioned in booking (including a tourist fee). The gym is not on site even though it is mentioned in the booking. As a solo traveler, I felt judged multiple times by the staff especially during check in by the front desk receptionist who mainly appeared annoyed I was bothering her when she seemed about to get off her shift (I was asked if I was staying here many more times than the average group of visitors were - probably because it was mainly older individuals and families). Best part was breakfast and a total of three of the staff. Ordered the most disgusting salmon I’ve ever had in my life, I’d recommend eating lunch/dinner elsewhere there are a lot of options around.

Very clean room and comfortable bed, spacious room with balcony. Pool area really nice and very spacious with lots of different pools/slide. Really good location, very close to lake and easy to walk to lots of central things in Bled. Air conditioning covered by metal grate and pointing towards windows of room therefore limiting effectiveness. Food quite underwhelming and felt like quantity rather than quality.

Well appointed hotel in excellent position adjacent to Lake Bled with comfortable beds in spacious rooms. Good shower/bathroom facilities. Personally prefer a smaller boutique style hotel, but no criticism of Rikli Balance, if you like a larger more functional style of hotel with all the attendant spa facilities.

The room was beautiful, great view of the lake. Plenty of space and very clean. Bed was comfy and all bedding excellent. The bag to take swimming with towels in was very useful. If i was going to fault anything the towels were not of a high standard in the room very thin.

The hotel was really nicely designed and furnished. It had a lovely smell as you entered reception. The spa was good but you do have to pay extra for the saunas/steam rooms. The room was a nice size with a lovely Nordic wooden decoration. The bathroom was nice and functional with a modern walk in shower. Breakfast had a good selection of cooked and buffet foods along with fruits, yogurts & pastries.

Great hotel, rooms, staff, pool and spa. The breakfast was outstanding and included in my fee
