We enjoyed the Mountain View from our room. The Bistro was a bonus!

The Juniper Hotel is away from the crowds, and masses found in town, but close enough to get there easily. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and friendly.

Ivana was amazing! I stayed here for 4 nights during my Banff vacation last week and I cannot say enough good things. She gave me tips and pointers, suggestions for food, suggestions for hikes. And helped me book some experiences to make the most of my stay. It was great to have a friend each morning before I set out on my adventures, or when I would come back and show pictures she was so excited to see them too. As a solo female traveler it made the difference feeling seen and safe with The Juniper Hotel. Already recommending for others to plan their stay and absolutely would come back.

Beautiful place to stay any time of season

Awesome, helpful staff, great view from room, amenities like shuttle into downtown Banff and ebikes were added bonuses!

The property was high on a bluff overlooking over 15 mountain peaks. The room /hotel was clean overall but needs much updating. The “ free” shuttle to town was unavailable often but the walk to town was a half hour. They will tell you 15 min. The E-bikes were fantastic! Used those a lot. Hot tub was clean but small. Restaurant was very good. Beds comfortable. Furniture old and mismatched. Outside deck needs replacing. Coffee bar in lobby would be a nice touch .

Great hotel and amazing staff!

The hotel is in a nice quiet location outside of downtown. It's easy to get to town with bikes or driving to the free parking train station. Staff were always very helpful with advice. Additionally the free use of bikes, bear spray, etc are very convenient.

It is in a beautiful location but remote which requires a shuttle to get into town. That requires a one hour notice which can be quite constricting. You will be doing lots of walking to get to the shuttle spot. The rooms are very poorly lit and have no usb connections so you do need to remember to bring a plug. There is no elevator which means you carry your bags up the stairs.
