The property is older and a little dated but the location is amazing! The bed was very comfortable. Only 1 of the 2 elevators were working during our stay which was inconvenient. The room was mostly clean but upon close inspection parts of the room had not been vacuumed, like near baseboards and around the bed. All of the staff are wonderful! We had excellent service from the moment we got out of our car from the valet to the front desk clerks, especially Valda who went above and beyond to make sure my elderly mother was comfortable. She was truly outstanding!

we needed to move our room three times. between a hokey portable air conditioner in room, one, to very dirty room two, to cracked ceiling and torn sheets in room 3 , we elected to check-out a day early. no coffee in morning till 7 a.m. and the automated self serve coffee machine was empty at 6:30 a.m. --- how could it be empty , first thing in the morning? poor organization. then they wanted to charge a daily resort fee over an above the price of the room? this is not a resort, but an old, tired hotel. Would not recommend staying there.

Location is great with easy access to the T subway and walking distance to the Wharf. It is an older hotel so, don’t except 1st class amenities, but was clean and nice and one of the better values for hotels in the area. If you don’t want to spend $400 a night on a hotel this is the place to go.

The hotel has been renovated and each room is somewhat different. This was our 2nd stay and we love the location, they serviced the rooms daily. Which you never find that anymore. We will always come back to this hotel . The rooms are quiet. The north end is 5 min walk to all the fresh Italian food. Quincy Market is across the street with every New England food and more. Freedom trail is close. Several restaurants and bars right around the corner. On Friday and Saturday the fresh market fills the street just around the corner. We fly into Boston airport and uber there no need for rental car as the train can get you to Fenway or other places.

The location was marvelous and the room spacious.

Juan the Porter was amazing! Very friendly, helpful and prompt! The location is amazing! Close to everything! The front desk help was cold and indifferent. We didn’t have any toilet paper in our room and when I told the front desk she just looked at me like I was crazy and never said anything. The room had a tremendously loud sound during the night that we think came from the furnace. It stopped after a long time. The room was old and tired. We weren’t able to use the refrigerator. The outside balcony door was difficult to lock/unlock. The 2 was missing from our room number of 214. Not very impressed.

The location is excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the room felt outdated. The mattress was worn out, the carpet had numerous stains, and the heater was not functioning properly. Although the staff promptly addressed the issue and restored the heat, the overall condition of the room could benefit from updates and better maintenance.

Great stay....clean and its in the best location in the city..
