Staff family-friendly

I would not stay here again as a family. If you expect a beach resort with kids amenities go elsewhere. They refused to refund us and let us leave when we said the place is not what we expected. Never pay this hotel upfront. Cons: 1. Forget the Kids Club! We chose this hotel based on the advertised kids amenities. Be warned, their kids club charges PER HOUR, PER CHILD! When you ask them they say it is in the fine print. Not only this, but one day I tried to drop off my daughter at 5 pm (they close 6 pm) and they did not let her in claiming the last hour no play in the ball pit is allowed, only movie time. We stayed at Hilton Bali before this where all these amenities (kids club..etc.) was included. I hate hotels being shady about their costs. Tell me so I know whether this place works for us. 2. Queen beds are not actually queen beds, a bit smaller. So if you are a family, get the king room with the trundle sofa. 3. Kuta is extremely crowded, bad traffic to go anywhere else in Bali add 30-60 min extra time stuck in traffic. 4. They are not actually a beach resort. You can hardly see the beach and there is no private area for hotel guests on the beach. It is down a large hill, across the street and very public. 5. Front desk staff have a non chalant attitude and sounds like robots/ very unhelpful. Pros: 1. Restaurant and cleaning staff are great. Great breakfast buffet options. 3. The pools are great for kids but beware they run out of towels by afternoon.

Fantastic hotel for families to enjoy, staff were excellent & made our holiday a treasured family memory. Our stay was during school holidays & we still couldn’t fault the hotel. A tip would be to book the cabanas before you arrive.👍

Our experience at the Hard Rock hotel Bali was very positive, enjoyable and relaxing. Lots of extras we didn't expect. It was very busy at the main pool and slides and almost impossible to book a cabana. However, at the gym wasn't busy and the spa, sauna and steam room were empty pretty much all the time. The staff were fantastic.

The rooms where always super clean, they mane different animals with the towels made my daughter laugh every night… the staff are so welcoming and helpful

Great for kids, decent pool and activities

The staff was friendly and welcoming. Pool area was the best I have been too. Foam party was fun. Room was clean.

Great family hotel, amazing pool!

Room was amazing and clean. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Nothing was ever to much. Very family friendly resort with all the facilities for both kids and parents. Looking forward to next year's trip.
