Very helpful staff. Great views. Perfect location

If you're booking a hotel in Rio, this is my #1 choice. From check-in to check-out, this hotel was excellent. Their attention to detail, helpfulness, friendliness, and safety were the best we have experienced and we travel a lot! The location is excellent, right across the street from the beach where they have dedicated staff and chairs. The rooftop pool has gorgeous views and excellent service.

We had a beautiful time and experience. Miramar staff is top notch and went above and beyond in their service. Food was great and the room was extra clean

The front desk staff was a bit sterile. Also I requested a room high up very far in advance- they completely ignored this request, placing me on the third floor with a “partial ocean view” that was obstructed my trees. Thankfully, another house staff was able to move my room to a proper ocean view, but why didn’t they do this in the first place? Housekeeping was spectacular though. Have to pay for water and coffee in rooms!! Beach umbrellas a joke, as there were only a few in poor condition that seemed to be “up for grabs” from anyone. I paid extra to stay at this hotel thinking I would have beach umbrellas secured but this was not the case. Breakfast is expensive and not included in base pay. Personally I have traveled a lot throughout Brazil, and Rio- I do not think this is a great value for money and will likely not return here as there are much more affordable combinations with similar extra amenities (with exception of beach chairs, as this was the only hotel I could find in this price range that provided them- if you can call them that)

Nice and clean room. Staff was very helpful. Beach is 2 min walk.

Friendly staff , Good breakfast and Great location close to Copacabana beach. However , the Gym requires refurbishment, equipment was well dated and getting into the room using the Magnetic stripe key card key card was also a nightmare. Otherwise my stay was relatively okay.
