Ice wasn't available, ice machine in bar was broken they said, elevator was broken, no A/C and parking was about 20.00$ per night and they only had about 6 spaces for parking so if you don't get one of those you have to park down the street in a pay parking lot that costs 30.00 per day.

Really tired decor and general ambience. Carpets were discoloured and stained throughout corridors and stairs. A very bad smell pervaded throughout the lobby and common areas, so suspect very poor ventilation.

Welcoming staff at reception. Clean well tended room and bathroom. The tea coffee facility within the room could be improved by adding a better selection of tea's the addition of a few cookies would also be welcome. Very quiet overnight on the top floor. The breakfast room is well set out and there is something for all tastes. Unfortunately the English cooked breakfast items were over cooked making much of it unbeatable. Hard overdone bacon, overcooked dry scrambled egg, and inedible fried hashbrown was like trying to get through cardboard. My breakfast consisted of a few scoops of runny yoghurt with a scoop of grenola as the sometimes frozen mixed berries were unappealing. That said I would stay here again because ot its proximity to the city centre.
