Clean room, nice pool, close to the Walled City, wide options on breakfast. Really a nice stay, fully recommend.

First time staying in this hotel very clean house keeping was great! Food was amazing bar drink where great no complaints at all

Clean room

This hotel at one point was a 5 Star hotel. First impressions, getting on the elevator, and it smelled like brake fluid. Throughout our stay. They market this hotel as beach front, they should have a disclaimer saying the beach in front our hotel has zero usability... Major construction...thank goodness for their pool, but still, they advertise Beach front hotel. The room smelled SWAMPY AND MUSTY. We were not able to use the drawers to store our clothing as they smelled UBER MUSTY. Hence, making living out of our suitcases not very congenial. The rooms showed in the advertisement, do not have carpet. The room had carpet and it was stained with hot sauce. That should have been shampoo'ed prior to a new guest. Carpet is gross in hotel rooms to begin with, and what appears to be hot sauce stains, DISGUSTING. They were kind enough to bring an air purifier, it hummed all day and night. Why not move us to a different room.............I don't know. Maybe to keep all guests on the same floor for easier housekeeping. The housekeepers were FABULOUS...ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS AND ATTENTIVE. The carpet in the hall of the 18th floor needs to be smoothed out. It is visibly bumpy and can cause a fall...I might sound picky, but still, this is the INTERCONTINENTAL HOTEL...let's keep those standards. Having said that, the Bell Hop, Mario is a true example of what you would expect from the INTERCONTINENTAL HOTEL product. As the was FABIAN at the pool bar, was stellar.

Not a good trip, beach was closed near the hotel. I was told that the restaurant was hosting the World Cup and no reservations were needed for the Colombia game, which was false and no seats were available. Staff wasn’t very helpful with my situation. Food & drinks took forever to receive whether you’re at the restaurant, bar or pool side. Service is extremely slow.

The service was great, the food was amazing and the staff was beyond our expectations. Will be back for sure
