Rooms are small but very well appointed . Was assigned a 1st floor room, asked for a higher floor and the front desk was very accommodating. Excellent breakfast with great assortment of fresh fruit , pastries , eggs etc. Very clean quiet rooms and beautiful showers ( some additional towel racks or hooks to hang towels would be nice ) Air conditioning worked well Very clean and comfortable beds/ bedding as well. Would absolutely stay here again !

The hotel was in a wonderful walkable location. The breakfast was just enough to keep us full for a great majority of the day. It was easy to get an uber and the street directly located in front of the hotel has many restaurants and shops.

It was a great stay for us but know you are far from the waterfront- probably a pleasant 20 min walk. Still close to things to see and places to eat. The hotel rooms would benefit of having at least a mini fridge.

It was at a good location, close to downtown & metro.

We arrived in OPO Airport around 7am, took the Metro directly to Trindade Station and walked 10 minutes to the hotel. After checked-in, we stored our carry-ons and went out to walk around the city. We returned around 12 noon, our room was ready, the room was clean and roomy with 2 windows, 2 twin beds, a small table and chair. The bathroom also room with a big shower, the water pressure was really good but it can use a much bigger shower head. A big screen TV and lots of charging outlets... Kettle/coffee/tea/sugar supplied BUT NO milk powder...we wanted to buy some milk but NO mini fridge to store. Breakfast was really good with different items offered, not the same thing everyday. All staffs were friendly and the breakfast staffs were really fast and efficient. Lots of shops and food places nearby also a good size shopping mall. Walkable to lots of tourist hot spots. Will stay again...

We didn’t use housekeeping at all but the reception staff were very helpful with our questions. The breakfast buffet was not as good as our other hotel but still nice. We missed the bacon every day and the cut up fruit which included strawberries for my hubby’s cereal. But all in all a very nice stay.

Breakfast is horrible, inadequate selection, running out of item and no replacement, unfriendly service

After staying at the Holliday Inn Express in Lisbon, the Holliday Inn Express in Porto was a bit of a let down. It does not have a safe. It does not have a refrigerator. Lisbon did. The carpeting needs replacing soon. It's location is ok if you are a good walker and we liked the location. And we had a wonderfully quiet room. Breakfast was fine. We will continue to stay at Holliday Inns.
