Overall a good place to stay, within walking distance of the central train station and all the major attractions. The hotel is small but adequate, as are the rooms. Breakfast is very good. It is very clear that the staff members are proud of providing a good experience. Our only incident was losing hotel WiFi for almost a day, and the front desk insisting that they were not at fault - my phone and iPad were at fault. Later that day the front desk told us that a fault had been found and maintenance was fixing it. No apology for incorrect information earlier in the day. In retrospect not a major problem.

The room is specious and clean. Very close to all the attractions and the train station is five minutes walk which I really appreciated. I did not have to use any public transportation.

The in the single room was a tad bit tiny

Hotel was clean and conveniently located near to the train station. Room was large, bed comfortable. It was very noisy on the street even with the windows closed but that is to be expected in an older property. The breakfast was plentiful and varied.

This hotel was less than “okay”. It was a good location and the staff was very nice. But the rooms and overall building were not well maintained and were not clean. The water in the shower took FOREVER to get hot. If you’re simply just looking for a place to lay your head, this hotel will do. But if you are wanting more out of your stay, more comfort, amenities and a clean place, I would not recommend.

We had a lovely visit to this hotel. Beautiful rooftop terrace. The front desk staff was excellent.

Location is very good. Clean and comfortable room. We like buffet breakfast. Terrace with bar is a nice addition. The staff is professional, polite and helpful.

Here’s a polished version that keeps your tone but reads a little smoother: I believe we upgraded for the breakfast, and honestly, unless you’re paying for the convenience, I wouldn’t recommend it. In my opinion, it wasn’t worth it when there are much better and very inexpensive options close by. The room also wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. It lacked simple things like tissues and a shower cap, and the patio and bathroom walls were never cleaned during our stay. That said, the front desk staff was very friendly, and the location near the train station could definitely be helpful depending on your needs.

Friendly staff, very good location. Shower booth is too small and water leaks out.
