Helpful staff

Nicely appointed room in a great location. The common area had assorted seating, which was great for our group of couples and small families. The pool is a lap pool in an incredibly small area. The staff could not be more unhelpful. Asked for late checkout and she said: "No, too many people already did that". When I asked for info on the RTA trolley, she said, "Look it up on your phone, we don't have any information". Front desk staff were so uninterested in helping guests, it was truly a mystery why they were in the job. We scheduled a taxi thru the front desk and called to confirm the night before. They said, "We don't do that, come down and look in the paper for a cab". Turns out the manager did it and didn't tell anyone. The shower was a joke, water came out in a dribble. For one night or two it's okay but don't expect much. There is no airport shuttle as stated on the listing.

Good location and nice clean hotel. Bathroom was dated but overall everything was good

Second time to stay. Great location, nice, comfortable rooms. Love being able to park our car and only steps away from the St. Charles Trolly, which takes you to the corner of Canal and Burbon St.

The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast. However, our shower was clogged and was never repaired during our stay. Maintenance never came to address the issue, so we had to use a friend’s room to shower before we could continue with our day.

The property was super clean and well maintained. The room was also really clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fairly standard hotel breakfast but the lobby it was served in was spacious and really nice. The property also felt really safe. The external doors locked at 8pm and you needed a key to get in and you also needed your key for the hotel and obviously the room.

I just wanted to let y'all know the breakfast each morning was delicious! So thank you to your staff for preparing it and keeping it stocked. I did wish that the water with the orange slices in it had more ice through out the day because it was very refreshing but as the day ends it became not so cool and refreshing. I know that is because it is hot in New Orleans and the Ice was melting but maybe putting a scoop or two in at mid-day would help. But I feel t was a great stay. I also want to thank the housekeeping for looking for my ring; I actually found it when I returned home and unpacked, rolled into one of my shirts! Guest from room #303

Great location, very nice staff. The room was comfy and spacious. Will return despite two issies: The pool water was a little hazy and the breakfast sausage was burnt to a crisp. The rest of breakfast was pretty good.

Unfortunately, we didn't get to stay as it was unclear to me during reservations which Hampton Inn & Suites I was reserving. I needed to be at the location, also near/on St. Charles St, that is closer to Bourbon St (French Quarter/Downtown). I had hoped to transfer my reservation but couldn't. Hampton Inn may want to improve their description of the property location to make it more obvious where the building is to people unfamiliar with New Orleans
