Nice little hidden gem font the location!

The check in was at the bar. Pro: The staff is friendly and they gave us our room fast. The accommodate the room for us. There where fresh fruit, bread, milk and cereal that we could eat throughout our stay. Cons: light was coming through the bathroom to the bedroom, loud noises coming from bar downstairs and street. Main con: “Continental breakfast”… was the fresh fruit, milk, cereal and bread that was already in the shared kitchen, we just check out early and went to the airport to eat breakfast. Other than that was an unique good experience in an historic building

I booked a room for my sister and I as we had an event to attend that evening. Before we left I let the staff member that served me know that one of the cards wasn’t working at the door to get into the hotel. She said it’s fine I just need to wait before tapping the card again. We left the hotel and went to our event. My sister went back to the hotel first, I went out with friends. When I got back to the hotel at 2am the card didn’t open the door! I tried for 10 minutes and nothing, my sister didn’t answer her phone because she was fast asleep but that shouldn’t matter because the card should have opened the door!! I had to walk 30 minutes back to my car where the event was and sleep in my car as there were no Uber’s or taxi’s around and public transport had stopped. My sister called me about 30 - 60 minutes later and I walked 30 minutes back to finally be let in to the hotel. I’m a woman and I was walking around in the city alone and I was scared, I was cold because it’s the middle of winter. I prepared for this night by getting a hotel room and never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be left in a situation like that.

Staff and the location were top notch

A very warm welcome led us to a charming and tidy room. The pub food was excellent. Highly recommend 👌

Really clean and comfortable room. Staff were very helpful. Good price and great location. I was staying by myself, but I felt really safe. The pub is a bit noisy, but that is to be expected and the noise died down before I went to bed. The nice communal area with tea/coffee and toast/cereal and a share library was a bonus. Definitely recommend.

Its a great location, very well maintained pub, delicious food and a good range; the staff are welcoming, very helpful and obliging, the accommodation is very comfortable and well presented and the lounge/kitchen eating area upstairs for visitors is excellent.

Great location for me across from a park, clean. There was no hot water only one morning and no electricity in the breakfast area. My room #3 was very loud from bar downstairs trivea night was the loudest. It was also next to the door for the outside access it was loud and the light was very bright. People were in & out all hours. Curtains were semi sheer so people could see in if lights were on. Should replace curtains with light blocking ones, for privacy & the light seems to be on a timer I was woken a few nights around 2am. I have recommended to my son in-laws friends.

We accidently booked a room that needs share restrooms. But it worked out nicely. Plenty of bread and milk for breakfast. Bus stops outside door. Beautiful neighborhood.
