The Mar Monte Hotel team provided me with an excellent customer experience. I was able to check in about an hour early, and enjoyed every minute of my stay. My room door was left open by housekeeping on my one full day; nothing was missing but I reported it to the front desk team as an fyi and they were incredibly gracious and accountable. Honestly, the accountability was impressive and ultimately why I would recommend Mar Monte Hotel to anyone looking for a beachside stay in Santa Barbara. Yes, the location is convenient and the amenities are lovely. That was my draw; but I will return because I trust the team.

An amazing place to stay especially solo! I had a wonderful weekend, staff was amazing and so nice! The room with balcony was so amazing!

The location is great! The only complaint is that the room was very noisy. It sounded like the HVAC was rattling all night.

The rooms smell like pee.

We stayed in a Corner Premium view room. For a room with high fees, we expected to have a good shower head. Bathroom floor was soapy, once you come out of shower then someone can slip. Our 3 y.o kid slipped once and fortunately kid was good. Apart from above two issues, everything was very good!!
