Took a family studio but unfortunately one of the toilets was not operational. It wss a 2bdr, 2 washroom suite Small botique hotel - clean rooms, courteous staff, breakfast is extremely limited and made to order. Away from the city but beautiful locale. 20-25mins to city center and night market. Pool area and general areas were well maintained and spotless. Recommended

The room was very clean with a nice coffee shop in the front driveway of the property for which they give you 2 free beverages per day.

Only stayed for a short layover between flights but found the hotel lovely, clean and incredibly helpful and friendly staff.

Our stay at the Merchant Villa was very pleasant. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The property grounds are beautiful and we really enjoyed the on site wine bar, restaurant, and coffee shop. Upon checking out, we both received a gift bag with some good snacks. Thank you to all the staff at the Merchant Villa for making such a memorable stay!

The pictures posted don’t do this stat justice - it was even more beautiful in person! The staff was incredible, the room was spotless, and we felt very cared for. The staff even noticed when we checked in that it was my birthday and provided us with a cake to celebrate. Next time we are in Chiang Mai we will be back to Merchant Villa

A beautiful property in a picturesque piece of Chiang Mai. We were truly surprised at how beautiful it all was, from the coffee shop, to the restaurant, and of course the villa.everytjingbwas tied together by a beautiful landscape. It was a wonderful departure from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our room had amazing tall ceilings, a shower and a tub, and was very spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the coffee at the coffee shop and food at the Italian restaurant we're delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Chiang Mai.

Absolutely lovely resort. Just gorgeous property and emenities.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The room is large and extremely comfortable. The hotel offers lots of amenities including air conditioning, and a large beautiful bathroom. They also have a mini-fridge which is free to use as well as complimentary drinks daily. The staff are super polite, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.
