We had a great stay here for one night. Excellent services, very spacious, modern room, great dinner and breakfast buffet with lots of varieties and local produces. Convenient location directly in front of the Donan Bus if you’re coming from Sapporo. Awesome lake view with fireworks. The property is beautifully decorated with plenty of lounge area.

Our stay at Lake Toya Nonokaze Resort was absolutely amazing and one of the highlights of our entire trip to Japan. My boys still talk about how much they loved this hotel and everything there was to experience around Lake Toya. The rooms were very large and comfortable, and having a private onsen right in our room overlooking the lake was unforgettable. The views were spectacular, and watching the fireworks show over the lake every night made each evening feel special. The breakfasts and dinners were some of our best memories from the entire stay. The variety and quality of the food were incredible, with different stations preparing fresh dishes right in front of you. From freshly made Japanese souffle pancakes and noodles to local specialties and fresh apple juice, every meal felt like an experience rather than just a hotel buffet. My boys absolutely loved it, and we looked forward to breakfast and dinner every day. There is also so much to experience around the lake. The hotel has E-bikes available, which are a fantastic way to explore the beautiful paths, scenery, artwork, and sculptures surrounding Lake Toya. We took a boat ride across the lake to the island, rode the gondola up Mt. Usu, and hiked while enjoying incredible views of the volcano and surrounding landscape. We also loved discovering the hot springs throughout the town. My family said it was absolutely amazing, and I completely agree. We would return without hesitation.

We have a wonderful stay in Lake Toya Resort

The rooftop onsen has multiple temperature tubs and are very clean. Good soap too. Fireworks every night in front of the hotel. It was the first time in my life that I soaked naked in an onsen while I watched fireworks blow up in the sky. Spectacular. This is a very big tourist hotel. Not small ryokan. Our room had such beautiful views of the lake too. The hotel needs a real coffee shop with a barista. The food is very plentiful and varied. Riding the ebikes around the lake was really fun. It took 3.5 hrs. There’s a little coffee shop on the left-hand side of the lake run by the nicest couple and the husband l hand makes skateboards and snowboards. His wife makes excellent Belgian chocolate cakes and cookies; and outrageous hot chocolate with caramélisés marshmallows . Ask for Sho at the front desk. Nicest young man!! 彼の英語は完璧です

Free parking. Location front view fireworks. Buffet(Dinnner + Breakfast) just standard, nothing spectacular.

Dinner and breakfast was included much to our surprise, and with a great selection as well. The hotel room had a great view and was spacious and clean. Only stayed for a night but I would give a 5 star experience

Very unique check in experience and service and views are great. The only issue I had was the ac in room cannot be calibrated to cool meaning that the room is excessively hot. Even though it’s cold outside it would be good to give guest flexibility to change to aircon to a comfortable temp in the room. (It is an in room control, but the hotel locks out the function and only allows for hot air to be used)….
