We had a wonderful stay at the Morrison Clark Historic Inn! The hotel is beautiful, full of historic charm, and impeccably maintained. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a unique character that made our stay feel special. The staff was warm, welcoming, and always willing to help with recommendations and anything we needed. The location was also a huge plus—close to so many restaurants, attractions, and everything we wanted to explore in Washington, D.C. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines history, elegance, and excellent service, I highly recommend the Morrison Clark Historic Inn. I would absolutely stay here again!

Location was perfect for all nearby attractions

Each staff member was so lovely and pleasant. They made sure my stay relaxing and accommodating. It was like being a little cozy getaway in the middle of the city!

Rooms were nice and clean, staff was friendly and helpful, they have a complimentary drip coffee from a thermos including hot water which you could use to make tea but no snacks or breakfast... They do have a restaurant on the second floor where you could get some food. There I got steak and eggs and the steak was a bit over salted but the eggs and diced potatoes helped with the balance. The building was kept pretty chilly even with 95° weather outside. Overall that's close to all attractions and I would recommend it.

Room was clean, staff was nice, but some of the employees had trouble speaking English. You expect people working in the USA to be able to speak and understand English especially in hospitality. The showers are very antiquated and the rooms are small.

I loved this hotel - the room was more spacious than I anticipated, the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful, and the area is very walkable.

I am an experienced traveler who has been all over the world... Although this is a small hotel, it was one of the finest. Its beautiful historic decor and architecture, cleanliness, professional staff and location made our stay a wonderful experience... Especially for the surprisingly affordable price. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting to Washington DC area.

Everything was amazing

Great stay!

Charming old hotel, w/great history. Accessible to all of the local DC highlights, restaurants, walking distance. Valet parked car & never used it once. Staff was helpful w/extra water bottles, because of extreme heat & answered all of our questions.
