Better than expected, this venue is friendly for foreigners, clean and nearby to bus stops and train stations. I good choice if you’re purpose is to rest and go kinda style of traveling.

Really nice hotel

This was a great hotel to stay at as it was close to Nijo castle and had a spacious room.

Room was clean, plenty of amenities, laundry room and smoke room too. Overall it was good for the price however location wasn’t always best for the activities we had planned, not too bad either as it was always 30-40m away from most places via public transport.

Very clean room, lots of food places nearby, and the bakery nearby that I got a coupon for was awesome!

Nice ambience. Wonderful staff. Lots of food places and shops within minutes.

The walls are paper thin so I could hear people’s conversations from the adjacent rooms and from the hallways

Good place for a base for a short stay. Close to public transport and restaurants and convenience stores. Room is on the small size but we expected that. There are extra supplies of toiletries, tea and coffee which you help yourself to at reception which is handy. We used the laundry facilities which were also handy and the lady on reception who changed some notes for coins for us to be able to use it was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately they don't provide a service to forward luggage to another hotel, but we managed to find the Yamato store about a 10 minute walk away who organised it for us.

Clean rooms and friendly/helpful staff, what more could you ask for

Bed was uncomfortable but the area and the staff made up for it & they had laundry service so that was also a plus !
