I would have given a higher rating to the staff but it only goes to five stars. Every single request was met with a yes and some yeses were offered before an actual ask! They were helpful, courteous and professional. I highly recommend staying here when in Reykjavik.

We can't say enough about how wonderful this hotel is. Not in the center of town, but set near the harbor, with a short walk to some fantastic harbor restaurants. The staff was so helpful and warm. The highlights were: 1) A great mini spa on site, with wonderful baths, resting area and great massages available. 2) A hip cafe with great coffee and baked goods and 3) an excellent restaurant/bar.

Awesome breakfast, spa and location.

The room was clean, the breakfast was good. The sink is inside the room and not inside the bathroom, it is not very convenient if you don’t want to wake up other people if you go to the bathroom…

These are nice properties

We stayed in the Grandi for 6 days. It was great! Loved the spa amenities and the buffet breakfast. It was in a perfect location. Staff gave us great recommendations for restaurants. We loved Iceland. The downside was the gym! Very small with few pieces of equipment. My husband and I could not work out at the same time.
