We had the corner suite room with 3 balconies, all with clear unobstructed view of beach, ocean, and sunset. Luckily hotel is not tall because it is older building with no elevator. Room was clean and comfortable if a bit outdated. I didn’t use the TV but it looked to be a Samsung smart tv. Unfortunately the air conditioners (2) were not controllable with provided remotes. Living room was stuck at 25c and bedroom was stuck at 20c. Very cold sleeping. Also the hairdryer burned out the first time my wife turned it on. Important to note that the "free parking" is actually first come beach parking and not dedicated to hotel so if driving in you need to be "lucky" to find a close spot to park. The entrance is through an active beer bar/nightclub of same name. That caught us off guard but wasn't too bad except a bit noisy if you're an early sleeper. All in all it was a decent place to stay for the price and the view location.

Great location and the sea view rooms have a fantastic view.

Is a bit old but location is good, staff are friendly and helpful ,bar and restaurant is good.

I always love my stays at Happy Vikings.! The staff really do make this place. Cleaning, Kitchen, Bar/Restaurant... they are all friendly and helpful with a genuine smile. You don't have to be Scandanavian to stay here. You may meet a few in the bar restaurant, but everyone is friendly, and i have never had any problems with guests or visitors. A very safe place...everyone sets a decent ocean view vibe and chills the day away. Rooms are cleaned daily, and this particular room was my favourite (102)... Not small, but not too big, with morning views of the Gulf from your bed! The rooms have been recently renovated, including the bathrooms. Always a decent hot shower. So the rooms are very modern and appear to be done recently . The hotel is down a small lane and away from the noise and a short walk is required t get to it .rooms have don't have views and are simply appointed but when u compare price and value they are favourable .U have to pay 500 deposit for the key in cash .

Would not bother. Restaurant below plays music EVERY night. I am older and go to bed early. To the drum of the noise that travels through the whole place. Girls in yhe Restaurant are helpful but geared to a restaurant not a motel. Only place i know in Thailand that has a 3.00 checkin and an 11.00 out.

nice bar joint guest house in front off beach draft beer available, room standard stay was ok.

We booked the King Suite at this property at the very last minute based on location and price, of which we had some regrets. Arrived early and property were very accommodating in allowing us to check in early as soon room became available. Staff were friendly, but she had to multitask bartending and checking us in at the same time. Swedish owner/manager helped, and was welcoming. Room was spacious and AC worked great. Bathroom functional but mold/mildew everywhere. Shower curtain was black at the bottom from mold. They don't have a true baggage service, but rather offered to leave it by the counter, neither locked or actively supervised. I wasn't expecting much when booking this property, but truly wished cleanliness was one of their top priority. Chose not to eat or drink there as could not trust the sanitary practice, but then again, it's Jomtien beach front for less than $50. What was I thinking...?

Ok hotell in good location

Great place! I stayed.there few nights. Large clean room, nice staff, 20 meters to the beach. Great food as well as cheap draft beer (carlsberg and Heineken). Definitely rec
