Love the location. Great rate. Very simple but clean. The only thing that might throw people is the shower and bathroom are all open. No shower door. Staff was very helpful we were trying to track down a place to get a passport photo done and the front office girl told us that we could get it done at the Oslo airport where we were flying(she was correct). Also had a computer so we could print out documentation.

You get what you pay for. The room was tiny, but we saved a lot of money by not staying in the city center. Very easy to take the tram into city center. Not many dining options nearby.

Citybox in Damasplass is an average stay. This particular property is a convenient train ride away from downtown Bergen and all its attractions. However it is not walking distance to any of the tourist attractions.
Property condition: While public areas are clean and comfortable, the rooms are less appealing. We stayed in family suite with 4 beds and it was definitely cramped.
Breakfast downstairs was $20 pp and felt overpriced for the choices offered so we skipped.

Stayed for 3 nights with family.The hotel location is good and close to supermarket and other amenities. It's a 20 minute walk to train station.
No tea or coffeemaking facilities in room.In common area were there were facilitaties for coffee and tea,the tray was empty on a lot of occasions and when we asked staff just kept pointing at paid machine which was not very helpful.
Self check in works well and also good facilities to store luggage.

Good location. Very close to public transport, multiple cafes and grocery stores nearby.
Contactless check-in and check-out was super simple and quick.
Our room was very spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. However it was lacking a wardrobe/covered storage space.
Some parking options available within walking distance, however they are quite expensive.
Very good hotel, especially for the price.
