Helpful and friendly staff. Good bento box and breakfast. Very close to train station

Cleaniness, staff and location

Clean rooms, very helpful front office staff. Very effective Aircon/Heating in the room. Ideal location.

Room is spacious and comfort. Staff is kind. Hot spring area is clean and good. Location super great. Walking distance from JR station

Staff were awesome. Nice small hotel at great location

Very friendly and helpful staff, simple and filling breakfast provided. Though a small hotel with a cafe, the room is cozy yet large enough for a whole family of 4-5 with all the amenities provided. It’s near the train station and a large 7-11 with surrounding good food and walking distance to all the places of interest. Although there’s no elevator, the staff had helped to bring up our luggage to the room as we explored Yufuin, since check in is after 4pm. Check out is very late though, till 5pm, hence it’s great for those who want to explore more or just make use of the onsen or lounge. Overall a very satisfying stay and highly recommended!

Spacious room, good for a group or family. Very nice bathroom. The location is great too

Beautiful, modern, very tastefully decorated property. The front desk attendee was very hospitable, a warm welcome to our first time in Yufuin! Gems is a minute walk from the station / bus stop, and is located centrally to Yufuin town. The walk to Kinrin lake was beautiful, with views of the mountain on the street. The room we booked was incredibly spacious, and although designed for 4, did not feel too empty for 2. The bathroom is so well done and so clean, with a huge bath tub that just invites a private soak. We would stay again next time!

Great large room one minute from the station. They also have a free spa and sauna. Staff is super nice too!
