The staff were incredible! So friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent, would benefit from some more fresh options for fruit as deemed to run out quite quickly. The sitcom worked incredibly well which was perfect for us! The shower head in our room leaked slightly and the pressure fluctuated. Has to be said that the location of this hotel is perfect! It makes it so easy getting to and from places, lovely place! X

The room is clean and comfortable. It is very close to the tower, shopping, and dining.

Very old building but well kept. All the amenities I wanted for a tourist trip. I had breakfast for one of the days and it was excellent. And good value too. Staff were helpful and on hand when needed. Couldn’t ask for a better place, will definitely recommend to others.

If you’re staying at this hotel, please don’t leave any money in the room. My wife left over $1,000 and it was all stolen from the room. They even went into her purse and stole an additional $500. We called to ask if they have cameras but were told no cameras checking who enters the rooms. The lady kept saying she is pretty sure no one took the money. How would she know for certain if there are no cameras? This happened while we were out exploring. We won’t get our money back, but O wouldn’t want anyone else to go through the same experience. Please keep your money and valuables close to you if you stay at this hotel. We have stayed at many places and this is the only place this has ever happened. In Punta Cana someone stole some new shorts with the tags still attached but that’s nothing compared to $1,500 in cash. Other than that… place is decent. Management probably should pay attention to who they hire and keep a close eye.

Friendly staff

We loved the old building and the quaintness of the room. The room itself was clean. The bed was comfortable, and the shower hot. The breakfast buffet had lots of variety. We were able to leave our bags to wander the city. The location is very close to the leaning tower of Pisa.

A rustic and charming old hotel, close to the tower and various touristy bars/restaurants. The room was comfortable but could do with a good clean and some refurbishment. There are some rickety parts. The same is true of the bathroom, some scruffy bits but my main issue was the shower. There was no proper base, just a drain in the floor. As a result the shower flooded the entire bathroom floor, and half the bedroom! Got my suitcase a little wet! The breakfast was tasty enough, freshly baked pastries and a couple of nice homemade tarts I enjoyed.

Old hotel, fine for one night,

This place should be shut down. There is severe mould issue in the building. It was visible in the walls in my room (very outdated room). Large dark spots, especially in the corners. The paint was coming off the walls too. When reported the receptionist said they know they have an issue but it is ok and according to her it’s not health risk.
