Absolutely first class- everything! Staff could not have been more attentive. The hotel rooms could not have been nicer- absolutely like new! Hotel has a historical feel with modern decor and amenities. The location was excellent as well. Close to Duomo. May go back to Orvieto just to stay here again (we only were in town one night this trip).

Really a lovely hotel. The rooms were gorgeous, the staff was super helpful and on top of stuff (cab, dinner res, itinerary), and the cafe was very nice. If you go to Orvieto you should stay here.

This is a unique property. Beautiful large rooms. The restaurant which is in a church setting offered one of the most particular dinners of my lifetime. I suspect they will achieve a Michelin star soon.

It’s hard to capture in words how exceptionally good Palazzo Petrus is. I will try: the hotel is a beautiful blend of ancient stone spaces and very well executed design with minimalist/modern touches. It seems every surface has been thought about and been left in its rough state or covered with steel or brass or adorned with beautiful custom made light fixtures and other details. The rooms are as beautiful as the common spaces. Our rooms were under the eaves and were extremely well cooled (even with temperatures exceeding 40C (100+ degrees F) outside. You could set the temperature very low and the room temperature would be at that level before long. The bed was a dream. Perfect.
But this leaves to last a facet of Palazzo Petrus which makes it truly shine: its people. This level of service and genuine care is rarely found.
