The property was beautiful with all the trees and quality of the room. I liked that it was small and quiet but yet in downtown LaFortuna. The room was very clean and there was laundry on site. Would highly recommend.

Suwa was excellent! I can't believe the rooms look exactly as the pictures! Place was very clean and relaxing. Amazing spot in downtown, it was close to markets and downtown restaurants. Love the place will consider this place if we return to la fortuna.

Rooms were clean,location was convenient to everything . We cooked breakfast one of the days and it was a plus that we were able to wash and dry our clothes .

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I loved this property! Staff was so kind and helpful. <3 They even greet you at the door and give you a little tour of the property. Also, the free coconuts when they welcome you was enough to impress me lol. Amenities were perfect. They have a little bonfire area, shared kitchen area (fully equipped), and a jacuzzi! There is a laundry room that you can use during certain hours (you just have to pay for extra Tide pods if you need it). Just for the laundry room alone, I was so impressed. The property and room were BEAUTIFUL. The vibes were immaculate. Everything was clean. The location of the property is close to everything. If I was hungry or wanted a massage, it’s literally just a few minutes walk (maybe even less). I just cannot say anything to really explain how impressed I was with this boutique hotel. 10/10, no notes. If you want a great time in Fortuna, look no further. This hotel is the one. Completely worth every penny. Book NOW!

Our family of 4 had an absolutely perfect stay in the 1 Bedroom Signature Room at Suwa Villa Arenal. If you are traveling with teenagers, this layout is fantastic—our teenage boys absolutely loved having their own space up in the little loft area.
The villa itself is beautiful, and we especially loved having two private patios to relax on. The property is stunning—a true little paradise tucked away right off a busy La Fortuna street, giving you the perfect balance of convenience and peaceful seclusion.
The outdoor common kitchen area is lovely, and we ended up enjoying dinner out there a couple of nights during our stay. To top it all off, our host was incredible. We unexpectedly lost hot water one night around 11 p.m., and she responded immediately, getting us back up and running in no time. We highly recommend Suwa Villas and would absolutely stay here again!

This was definitely our favorite stay while staying in Costa Rica. It was a beautiful villa and upon check-in we were welcomed with fresh coconut water and then got connected to wifi and got all set up. The wifi was great, so there were no issues. Our stay was amazing! Would recommend a million times, the only tricky part was with transportation, it is not as popular, so we had to choose the Falafel hotel, and they would still pick us up right outside, as they are right next to each other, but other than that, it was amazing.

Suwa Villa Arenal was delightful! A little oasis amid the bustle of La Fortuna. It has an inside/outside vibe--the rooms are inside (and air conditioned); the hallways, kitchen and common area are outside and covered, and there are beautiful planted areas (with big trees, a pool, and some outdoor amenities) that are outside but within the walls. One morning I sat in the common kitchen and listened for fifteen minutes to the birds in a large adjacent tree. We really did use the common kitchen and dining area to store and prepare food, and we also used the laundry--very helpful after a sweaty day of hiking! The rooms are not large, but they are well laid out and elegant. I would highly recommend Suwa to anyone visiting La Fortuna.

Its a great place for relaxation. I only stayed one night but i loved it. Its a great spot for romantic getaway.
