I always stay for a night when traveling through Surat before going or returning to Samui.
I always stay at Journey: it is centrally located, relatively large room and clean; all I need for a brief 1 night stay.

매우 훌륭해요 I stayed at journey the night before boarding a ferry to Koh Samui. It was a stylish room that had air-conditioning. Everything was clean, and there was a night market right across the street selling great food. I don’t know if they do that every night, but it was a lot of fun to walk around the food and shopping stalls. I got there via the phantip bus from the airport, which only cost 150 baht. I walked to the Seatran station next morning, which I don't recommend doing - pay for a taxi, it's a hot and tiring walk.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Journey Hostel. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They helped us organise ferry ride and and driver needs we had when we wanted to drive to the elephant farm. The only thing I would really mention is that the room didn’t have a window, but that was no bother to me. There is the occasional night market right across the street too (seems mostly weekend or Monday though) also the food carts outside on the Main Street were extremely friendly too. I’d definitely stay there again and couldn’t recommend it more.

매우 훌륭해요 Great place. Very comfortable and clean room. The staff was very attentive. In my time of going to the airport there were no taxis available and someone from the staff made a point of taking me to the airport.
