훌륭해요 The accommodations were wonderful. And in a lively neighborhood with a covered commercial street, where we found amazing things and good food. This is the easiest place to be in Kyoto if you want to get around. Nijo Castle, the imperial compound, is just to the north, and the Golden Pavilion is a short bus ride away.

The rooms are always cozy and quiet, as well as the bathrooms are AMAZING here. I love the japanese style washroom as well as the beds are comfy. Only complaint is they are a little low to the ground, but the only person who had a problem with that was my parents. Other than that this property is so beautiful and quiet and low key, my favorite place to stay thank you all in Kyoto!!

We stayed in a lot of places during our trip in Japan, from hostels to high rise hotels. This little gem off the beaten path was awesome. Japanese style beds, free laundry (even had laundry soap) and stellar shower/bathing facilities. Would certainty stay here again

The place was very clean and quiet. It felt like we had it all to ourselves. The kimono station was a plus that’s we didn’t expect. Free coffee/tea in the lobby was nice. Shower and toilet were awesome. We loved the place and it was in a more residential area which made it more authentic. Walkable to a beautiful Shinto shrine garden and Nijo Castle. Sanjo street is a nice walk also.
