Stayed at Santa Caterina for 2 nights when visiting Siena in May 2026. The hotel is conveniently located just outside of the city walls (Porta Romana) with easy 15-20 min walk to the Duomo and all other major landmarks. We didn't pay enough attention about requesting the parking before the arrival and were very frustrated at ourselves (good luck with finding the parking spot outside of the ZTL), but the gentleman at reception desk saved us by finding the spot in their very limited parking lot. We are very grateful! The breakfast was delicious, and the view from the hotel garden was magnificent, all way down to Monte Amiata 70 km to the south! Highly recommend!

Very nice hotel in a good location on the edge of Sienna. Spacious room, with comfy bed and good storage space. Hotel although lovely, feels a bit dated and tired and misses a few of the modern touches. Would recommend and would stay again.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The garden was beautiful and we enjoyed our coffee out there and our wine in the evenings. It is very close to the enchanting town with shops and restaurants. The staff was very helpful.

Very beautiful hotel by the city wall,friendly staff and a good breakfast.

The location is superb, quiet, friendly and yet very close to the beauty of the historic town. The staff was super kind, friendly and attentive at all times. Breakfast was very good. Our room was super comfortable and super clean. Kudos to all staff but in particular to Lucio who ran the extra mile in making our stay unforgettable. Definitely a repeat on our next trip to Siena. Thanks to you all.

Todos os funcionários foram bem educados e respeitosos. Recepcionista até me deu um mapa com pontos turísticos da região. A entrada do estacionamento precisava ser sinalizada, pois não tem como parar na frente do hotel para perguntar. Mas gostei bastante do hotel e viria novamente.

Very unique hotel with a friendly staff. Rooms were quirky but clean and comfortable. The view from the terrace breakfast area/garden were fantastic.
