Hotel rated 5 stars. Clearly, they don’t know the definition of 5 stars. A/c weak. Carpet with stains in the hallway. Room worn and tired… not historic worn.
2 to 3 stars max. Not a 5 star hotel.

Our stay at this beautiful hotel in Venice was truly unforgettable. The hotel was stunning, with so much charm and elegance, and every detail made our experience special. The service was exceptional — the staff was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for. The location, atmosphere, and hospitality made our visit to Venice even more magical. We would highly recommend this wonderful hotel and hope to return again someday

I was charged 1800 euros for a glimpse of the canal in a small room which was over the noisy entrance and gondola parking area . Room service and housekeeping were extremely slow. Front desk helpful

만족해요 Beautiful hotel, steeped in history set in an incredible central location very close to St Marks Square. Fantastic staff and service, with the property itself like a museum. The reason for the low rating is the misleading marketing of the hotel. Despite pictures on the hotels website and featured on Expedia, depicting a wonderful roof terrace overlooking the water - this is not available unless a specific suite is booked or private event organised. Also, whilst the hotel is very well located for private airport transfers, this is not included in the price of the booking (upwards of €150+ each way), which again we felt is incorrectly depicted on Expedia (Expedia did provide a level compensation when this was raised).

It's a very nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay. The Expedia website says that there "is a shuttle service to the airport" which is one of the reasons we booked this hotel since we flew out the next day; however, there is no shuttle service and the hotel staff was very confused about why we thought there would be a shuttle service to the airport.
