Reception staff were good, very helpful, and good breakfast, but the hotel needs some TLC, long waiting for lifts with one lift out of action for the duration of our stay, 2 stage to get to rooms, 1 lift from street entrance to reception the second lift to bedrooms. This is not a 5 star hotel, 4 at best, it’s redeeming features were its staff, great reception and restaurant staff. Guest rooms ok, bathroom in a below par standard. We will probably try another hotel when we return in September

We had a lovely stay at the Swiss. Rooms were clean and stocked with the essentials. The kids loved having a winter swim in the heated pool. Can’t beat the location either. Nice and central being on Pitt St.

Everything was great! Including the breakfast. Right in the center of town steps away from St James station and literally along side a Westfield mall. Walkable to Hyde Park, Opera House, Aquarium, Warf, Harbour bridge as well as Darling Harbor mini-bridge.

I’m not a complainer but the wait time at reception was far too long I probably waited with my mum and kids at reception for 25 minutes at reception on both occasions and staff at reception let another person push in front of me. The person who pushed in complained about not being able to get into the room and the long wait were offered a late check out. We were not. We were not able to get into our room until after 3.
My elderly mother had to sleep in warm clothes because our beds were not made with a top sheet only a fitted sheet and no extra linen in the cupboard. One of the fitted sheets on one of the beds had a hole in it too.
