The property was only 4 years old and had a look of big city sophistication even though it was in the middle of countryside. It's a self-contained resort with lodgings, shops, and restaurants.
We stayed only 1 night but had fun exploring the property. It's an enormous sprawl. When we were there, the weather was nice. But it would be unpleasant to walk around in rain.
The room was spacious and offered many amenities. We were comfortable.
The only unfortunate thing was that the herbal bath building was outside of the hotel building, and we would have had to walk outside, which meant that on the way back, we would have gotten colder. So we didn't check it out.

Modern and unique place with lotsa shopping and restaurants and food outlets. Has a local market that sells local produce at local prices. Good place to spend a night and visit all the shops.

We found this hotel to be very unique and interesting. Room was spacious and very comfortable. The premises are futuristically designed and well maintained.
The stuff is very attentive and helpful.
The public bath/onsen is amazing. Spa was great.
The only thing we found to be strangely on a different level was the breakfast/dining room.
We found the food and presentation to be below average and the dining hall was very simple, with the view of the parking lot and mostly felt like we were dining at IKEA.
