We booked and the pictures are nothing like the facilities. It’s in a very industrial part of town. Not really a great neighborhood. The room was clean, but very basic.

The room we stayed in was clean and the staff were kind. There was also breakfast in the morning.

It’s always a nice stay at the Spark by Hilton. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s well maintained, super clean, the beds are comfortable and the staff is super friendly. It’s a great spot if you want to feel hidden away as it’s behind a restaurant and a couple of businesses.

WE enjoyed our staff at this property. Staff was friendly and attentive. Would recommend to others.

Staff was wonderful, everything was clean. Breakfast room had names of items that are known for consistent flavors.... only one "local" item though. An amenity that would be amazing to have is a coffee maker in the room.

The hotel is close to the freeway and it’s easy to get in and out of the freeway. The property is on good condition and the front desk people are very friendly and helpful

This is a great stay in Modesto. I come to town about every 6-8 weeks for work and always stay here. This time I looked at a Marriott property (I have status with Marriott) and was not at all impressed due to homelessness and watching a woman go through all their garbages and hopping the fence to someone patio. We quickly reserved a spot at Sparks and are so glad! The area is safe, the hotel is clean and the staff are so amazing! I will never ever try to cheat on them again. The beds are amazingly comfortable, the location is clean (and safe!) and a fraction of the cost of the big chains that are not as welcoming. ❤️

Everything was great and we would stay again if we were ever back in the area.

Good

Housekeeping and certain front desk folks were amazing. The GM, Andrea Lucero, however, was rude, unprofessional, and intent on being punishing and unhelpful. I will never, ever, ever stay at this terrible property ever again.
