We loved our stay here - while the rooms were a bit dated the hotel offers a superb value and location. The property is well maintained and we loved the comfortable beds and having a kitchenette.

cleaner did not clean our room the last day she just gave us a few clean towels we were very unhappy about that for a 5 star hotel for this to happen

The staff was very courteous at check-in and helped me resolve a duplicate booking through Expedia. The exterior of the building is very nice as is the lobby and amenities. However, the rooms a bit run down and the cleanliness was on the poor side. there was a burned out light in one of the bathroom and there was a noticable layer of furry dust in the bathrooms. I would have given a better rating except for that.

Have stayed here multiple times. The room on this stay was very worn, broken counter, ripped carpets, kitchen utensils broken, etc. The staff is excellent. We will stay here again because of the room options and kitchen, but it is ready for a refresh.

We stayed in a Two-Bedroom Sutton Suite as a family of five, and the room was clean and spacious for us. The kitchen area was well stocked for what we needed to manage breakfasts in the morning and snacks throughout the day. We did not have any other main meals in the room. Housekeeping tidied up well while we were there and helped manage the dirty dishes in the sink. Overall, a really nice place and we would consider staying again. The room had the usual signs of use from many guests, like scuffed wall paint, some damage to the door trim, and a tub that looked like it had seen better days. This is quite common in family-friendly hotels, but it was a bit unexpected for a place that prides itself on being quite fancy. The pool was also a little disappointing for us, as there were only 4 or 5 loungers/chairs available for use. Even when there were only 2 other people in the pool, the loungers were claimed with either dirty towels or someone's stuff. It was just not an inviting experience. As soon as we walked into the pool area as a family, it felt like we were intruding on other people's time at the pool, as if it should have a private booking.

2nd stay at this hotel. Favorite place to stay when cruising.

Old, no bed service one day, shower old and not good. No room service great location

Loved this hotel. We appreciated the space and having a kitchen. The location is perfect. Walkable and right next to grocery store! Some of the kitchen items need replacing (cheese grater in 501) but overall would highly recommend!

The room had mold on the walls and carpet was very dusty all round the edges. A thorough airing when we got it helped a little, so perhaps the room hadn’t been used in months. Wallpaper was peeling off the wall that had been stuck on with sellotape, and the radiator covers had sharp edges at children’s height. Some of the light bulbs flickered and buzzed - the whole room was tired and in desperate need of a refurb. The location of the hotel was excellent however.

Amazing! We loved our stay here. Fantastic location downtown, walkable shopping and dining, and rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Parking was a little expensive but convenient. The location was perfect if you like shopping. Walking distance from lots of restaurants and a nice plaza. Driving distance was pretty good to Granville Island and other key areas. Rooms were large, suite style with a comfortable bed, nice TV, and a full kitchen and fridge if you prefer to have dinner in your room. Staff were very friendly, always helpful and professional, and the amenities were great. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Vancouver.
