It was by far the most charming place we've ever stayed in. AND just across the street from the train station (noise not a problem) so very convenient with luggage. Their breakfast buffet (not included but very reasonably priced) was good and plentiful. Around the corner from bus stops, with many local eateries within a couple blocks. Had a game room with pool table, library, bar, just can't say enough nice things about it.

Our stay here was wonderful! It’s definitely a more historic place so don’t expect a modern building or room but it’s was charming and perfect! The staff was wonderful and very friendly. I felt very immersed in the culture and it was perfect walking distance to dinner and shops.

Love the historical vibe of this hotel--especially the stained glass, and community game room, library, and relaxation spaces. Room 18 is not updated like rooms in photo (which is fine), but be aware that this corner room gets quite warm from mid-morning onwards. (Was here during the fall.) The room A/C and ceiling fan couldn't quite keep up, so we opened windows and propped open the door to get some cooler airflow. Nice location for access to town and public transport.

Great location and the games room and library were a fun bonus.
Our room didn't look as 'fresh' or updated as in the listing photos, but was nice enough for a one night stay, and the location made up for it.
