最高 Visited Melbourne, from Sydney, for a weekend and stayed at the ibis Melbourne - Hotel & Apartments.
The staff were friendly, the room was comfortable and the location was great.
Walking distance to the CBD, trains and trams with the Queen Victoria Markets only a short stroll up the street.
This is my go to place to stay when I am in Melbourne.

とても良い The location is excellent. The staff are helpful. We couldn’t find a fault in their service. The other thing we couldn’t find was amenities in the room. We had to ask for the slippers and spare toilet tissues from the reception. It would be great if we were advised that no amenities provided in the room when we were checking in so we would’ve grabbed them on the way up to the room; saved the trip to go back down to the reception.

Car park is ridiculously narrow to enter and turn into - let alone exit
After calling for directions 4x as Google map via Hotels ap took us to wrong street - staff still didn’t tell us to stop and unload luggage and my 77yo mother out front instead of in the underground carpark with 3 flights of stairs
Restaurant wasn’t open / not in business at all - also inaccurately described on Hotels ap
Room very clean, breakfast buffet good

Room was ok, beds comfy but carpet old and stained in the room and hallways
They have the bare minimum of toiletries, soap TP etc so we kept running out of everything
The room was noisy, there was a pinging sounds every few minutes that sounded electrical
Air-conditioning was a plus, but you needed it on all night as the blankets were not warm,
In the end, you get what you pay for if you go cheaper.

Booked a one bed apartment. The bed for my daughter was appalling. It was a sofa bed and the mattress was so thin that the springs were almost visible. One pillow for each guest - no extras. A dark room, minimum tea/ toiletries etc. Would not stay again as I would rather pay a little more for extra comforts.
