This hotel is a hidden gem! I checked in to Arun Dara Villa after checking out of another hotel that was very disappointing. They had only one villa left and looking at the pictures I thought it was too good to be true but booked it anyway. I am so glad I did! The hotel and staff made me so at home — I was sad to leave. The “villas” are 100% as pictured. The space is large and modern with a smartTV. This was a big deal for me given the original hotel did not nor did it have a single English channel. The room is bright with natural light. Shower has dual shower head, which is a plus since I took a lot of showers given I had my own personal plunge pool! For the most affordable price (I’ve ever seen) I had my own terrace with seating and a pool! Inside the room was also a full size bathtub to soak and relax. Keyword: RELAX!!! I came to Chaing Mai to relax and enjoy less hustle and bustle as in Bangkok. The only thing I would change is not staying at Arun Dara Villa longer! The location is convenient to walking to plenty. There is a 7-11 right before you pull into the street it’s on. There are also plenty of cafes and places to eat. Also, it’s not far from a bar district. Last, biggest compliment goes to the staff. The desk attendants greet you coming and going. When I ordered food, they made it to my door to drop it off before I could put my shoes on to pick it up myself. They were the most kind, courteous team. Especially my friend who checked me in. She was the best.

Ideally located near restaurants and 20 meters from 7/11. Very clean spacious rooms with very friendly staff.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Just a heads up, they don’t take credit card if you plan to do laundry from them. Also, the room has a list of items on the wall, that the hotel will charge you if you break or stain!

Nice villas in a good location.

Had a lovely time during my stay in Chiangmai and the staff are all so welcoming and lovely. The breakfast option is a MUST TRY! Staff also provide local recommendations which made traveling even easier. The room was big, pool was clean. Had a very relaxing time there.

Most amazing place I’ve stayed in Thailand

People from the Villa were all great and very kind. It's a pity not to have an experience of breakfast as I woke up very late everyday. There is nothing to complaint, but to thank for everything.

Staff was amazing and friendly. Could not have asked for anything better
