Room was clean, bed was extremely comfortable, staff were friendly.

We’ve stayed at various malmaison hotels in the UK. This is a particular favourite. Set in a refurbished episcopalian church. It has an ideal setting near Blythwood square. We stayed in a double standard that had all the amenities we could ask for. We had drinks at the bar and we were having dinner as part of a birthday celebration. The waiting staff were excellent the food was delicious and the ambiance was perfect. Well done ChezMal

The breakfast area could be lit better. It was difficult to read the menu without using the torch on my phone.

The carpet was dirty and appeared unhoovered and the plug in the sink disgusting Staff excellent on checking in Breakfast was average. The smoked salmon was over salty and came with no toast. The scrambled eggs were excellent. The two soft boiled eggs were hard. The bathroom was very basic with no hair products. We expected boutique but found it tired and run down. Disappointing for the money paid

Location great for a lot of arts and music venues. Very nice room and comfortable bed. Lots of sockets, decent TV and great powerful shower. One small thing that bugged me: I wish the tea/coffee-making stuff was on a tray as it was all on a shelf in the wardrobe, so everything had to be pulled out one by one.

Nice rooms although very hot, no room temperature controls. Staff lovely, room service good, food and drinks good.

The room was very clean

Location is a bit out of the main city centre. Room was a bit small. Bathroom was big. Walk in shower had a fixed screen. The screen could have been longer though as it was easy for water to escape and the floor was very wet after a shower. Shower head could be done with being replaced as it was leaking. Towels seemed new and were fluffy. Window opened a little bit and fan provided in room. There was also a little fridge. Bed was comfy. Reception were helpful. Lift was slow. Overall everything was fine. I'd stay somewhere else next time though as I thought it was expensive for the size of room.

Top location, great rooms and breakfast
