Hotel and room was clean but very very dated. Bath was clean but enamel was scraped off the base which made it look dirty. Tiles the same. Very yellow grouting because it was so old. Disappointing for a Great Western. Air con wasn't working but there was a fan in the room. Helped but not ideal

Very clean. Close to Stoneleigh train station. Staff were very accommodating. Definitely recommend.

Parking is easy, breakfast simple but OK Friendly staff

Great location for what I needed doing. Adequate parking facilities. Shops for essential needs relatively close by and walkable distance to railway station for trains to London. Cleanliness was not as good as my previous overnight stay. Mirror missing in room and defective spot light. Bed a bit squeaky. The room was very spacious but I thought I could have been allocated a nicer one for a five night stay. The staff was polite and courteous enough. The breakfast on the go was slightly disappointing.

Ground floor carpet to room was filthy. Carpet in room looked stained. Bathroom shabby. Only one bedside table with edging coming off. Kettle still had water in it from before (but, was fill-sized). Sheets clean, mattress protector used, but didn't dare use a black light on mattress. Bed was well worn but comfy enough. EASY QUICK WINS FOR IMPROVEMENT (1) steam clean or wash carpet (2) create a snag list for minor repairs and get a handyman/woman in for a couple of days (3) Put a mattress topper on to improve mattress (cost effective upgrade instead of replacing mattress). Lots of potential, as good-sized car park and handy location. It just all felt a bit shabby.

Staff member Hava, who was on reception when my daughter and I arrived was very warm and welcoming and made a lasting impression on my daughter. We only stayed one night but the room was clean and had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble for Hava and the gentleman on reception in the morning who brought us complimentary hot sandwiches at breakfast. This is a fantastic budget hotel made extra special by the staff.

Good staff, parking etc. value for money

While comfortable, overall the place has a very institutional feel and is a little worn. Bath enamel peeling and mould in bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful. Good for a night and handy for the pi next door.
