Best stay of my visit to Switzerland

After a fantastic, long and relaxing journey on the Glacia Express from Chur to Zermatt, we arrived at Hotel Sarazena around 9pm. Diana had left us a nice note, apologising for not being present, but enclosed the keys to our room, and that we would deal with check-in in the morning. We entered the lift, went to the 4th floor, opened the door and were completely blown away, there it was, curtains open with a full view of the Matterhorn out the window. Straight out onto the balcony, and sat just staring. It was wonderful, could not be more happy. Slept very comfortably, woke up, went for breakfast and were greeted by the wonderful Diane. So helpful, so nice, such a lovely person. We stayed 3 nights and truly did not want to leave, felt very sad when we had to catch the train home. Cannot recomend Hotel Sarazena high enough. Had a wonderful stay. All the staff were so nice.

Perfect location right near the train station. The hotel is very clean and my room was nicely furnished. The price was reasonable for Zermatt and what stood out was the service. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. I used the private steam room/sauna one day and it was wonderful after skiing. I'd gladly stay again.

We had booked 2 rooms in this hotel. The hotel was clean, cute and close to the train station. The hotel staff were exceptionally polite, courteous and helpful. The breakfast was decent too. I would love to book this hotel again if and when we visit Zermatt again.

Excellent location and I would definitely return next year.
