最高 Upon checking in, we were greeted with the best experience/stay. We received complementary items, which allowed up to try out as many restaurants that the hotel offered.

Location was great but the room cleanliness left a lot to be desired.
There was an incident where we were given a dirty towel, as well as visible water damage along the bathroom floorboards.

Everything was great… lovely people working there great customer service. The roof top bar has good food. FYI I saw the actor from entourage Adrian Grenier while staying there.

少しがっかり The room and amenities were good - better than the red roof across the street but more expensive. I was told I could park but not that I would be charged for it. When I explained the next day this charge was unexpected, the desk person was incredulous (9:00 AM 7/16/26). When I asked if I could stay parked longer than checkout, because I paid and that’s custom, she was inflexible and dismissive. I’ll be staying at the red roof where the parking is free - definitely not worth the upgrade to deal with the hidden charges and rude/incommunicative staff.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Nell in Washington, D.C. The room was clean, cute, and comfortable, and the restaurant upstairs was a pleasant surprise. The food was very good, and the margaritas were excellent.
My biggest disappointment was the parking. The website advertises parking, but there are only about five on-site parking spaces. If those are full, you're directed to a nearby parking garage that costs around $60 overnight, which significantly increases the cost of your stay. I think the parking information on the website should be clearer so guests know what to expect
