Good

I recently stayed at Midcity Hotel Myeongdong and overall had a good experience, mainly thanks to its excellent location. Most of Seoul’s major tourist attractions are either within walking distance or easily accessible by train, making it a great base for exploring the city. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and nicely presented. However, one downside was the lack of storage space, particularly for hanging clothes. This wasn't a dealbreaker, but it did make longer stays a little less convenient. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the breakfast. The hotel advertises breakfast with photos showing pastries, which is quite misleading as none were available during my stay. The selection consisted mainly of bread, cold eggs, mushy potato tots, one traditional Korean dish, and Coco Pops cereal. There were no pastries, no fruit, and no yoghurt. We were so underwhelmed that we ended up skipping breakfast altogether after seeing what was on offer. Overall, the fantastic location and comfortable rooms make this a solid choice for visitors to Seoul, but I would strongly recommend booking without breakfast and eating elsewhere instead.

Clean rooms. Helpful staff. Has 24-hr coin laundry onsite. 5-minute walk to train station, 10-minute walk to Myeongdong night market. Close to restaurants, convenuence store and cafes.

Amazing location for a nice stay in Seoul :)

Great place for shopping, food, city tour and train/subway/bus stations. Excellent service and friendly staff , offer many wonderful choices of food and restaurants. There was a great deal of uncertainty before the visit but this hotel had taken care of issues very effectively. We stayed for eight nights and it was hard to move on to another location for our professional meetings. Highly recommended.

Excellent breakfast and the staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way on a couple of occasions to assist us. The location of the hotel is very convenient, great dining options nearby and well connected for transport. Highly recommended!

Great location, amazing helpful staff, modern and clean rooms. Lots of local eateries and shops nearby, What more could you ask for?

Room is clean. Need better updated treadmill in the gym. Shared iron I. Laundry room! Not convenient.
