The staff were incredibly helpful and kind and the laundry facilities were well maintained. But the rooms were very dated and seemed a little dingy. Also, my bed had a big dip in it that made it difficult to sleep and made me think the mattress was really old. The aircon also barely worked.

Amzing Hotel. Service was awesome. Great location. Lovely Onsen. Really nice touch to have free bike rentals. We went all around the place. Free eye masks was brilliant. Room was great. Highly recommend it.

The room we had was a little musty and realized that the fan in the bathroom did not work. Also, the bed was a semi double which was a bit small for two, tall but skinny adults. The room had enough space for a rolling luggage and two backpacks. Since we were traveling light, the small room size wasn’t a big issue for us. Overall, a decent place to stay for a night or two.

A very tired old hotel, cramped rooms, just one lift servicing well over 100 bedrooms Very irritating that, having paid for breakfasts when booking, the management then refused to provide any breakfast. Avoid.

Served a great Japanese breakfast each morning.

good walk

Good location right near the station and a short walk away from interesting things. Hotel was a bit dated but still functional. Small room, but that's to be expected in Japan and especially for the price.

Within 3-5 mins walk to Matsumoto JR station. Hotel and room is dated slightly old, but not a deal-breaker. Extremely slow wifi. Other than that, great for its price and location.

Very convenient and clean. Rooms are traditional Japanese space. Blanket feels a bit old. traditional Japanese bath on top floor is very pleasant.
