I didn't realise the hotel location is so close to St Joseph Cathedral. But we can't hear the crowd's noise, which is a good point. The room, it is what you are paying for; it has everything you need, just in a smaller size. The room is clean, but on the last night, we found some ants outside the door. Once we mentioned this, the staff helped spray some insect spray. Breakfast has plenty of options, Vietnamese style (hot bowl of pho and some congee), bread and jams, and cereals. Staff really helpful and friendly. I had to take a shower after check-out because my flight was late at 11 pm, they let me use one of the rooms to shower. I really appreciate the gesture.

The photos online made the rooms look very nice and comfortable. The rooms we got were not even close to the photos online. The people were very nice, but the rooms were small, old and very plain! Very disappointing!

The staff were attentive and helpful. Premises clean. Good breakfast.

I did not stay there. In fact I would like my money back. When I checked in, there were three very aggressively friendly men who were very creepy. They asked personal questions. They gave me the room near reception. There was no inside lock and they said it was safe. I did not feel safe. I thought about it and decided not to stay.

We had a great experience at Splendid Holiday in Hanoi. The staff consisting of Harry, Emma, Lily, Anna, Mina, and Jon went out of their way to help us and make us feel comfortable and welcome. They are very knowledgeable and hospitable towards our questions and needs. The location is central and gives walkable access to significant Hanoi landmarks. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was yummy.
